Toni and Nemo my albino Oscar's

Went to a LFS today and saw an oscar that reminded me of Toni with its colors. Not by way of health. The owner of that store wrecks fish. Its already got fin rot and is looking like its wasting away. Makes me extra sad because after seeing how beautiful Toni is, I know that other fish could be stunning. I've seen that guy screw up alot of really nice fish tho.
Oh I also have a question for you Jexnell. Have you ever noticed Toni vibrating her tail vertically while flaring her pectoral fins under certain circumstances? Lazarus has been doing this but only when someone or something else comes next to me at the tank. He does it at my husband, my daughter, did it at the dog tonight...he doesn't do it to anyone if I'm not standing there tho. Wondering if you or anyone here might know what that's about.

He has bonded with you and does not want to share you is what I am hearing here. You brought that little fellow back from death nearly right, spent a lot of time looking in him. So in his mind its like when fish guard eggs, he was guarding/defending you from intruders.

That honestly had not crossed my mind. My beloved GF and koi don't guard things so its not a body language or behavior I'd seen yet. How very cool.
Well Toni and Catness went thru a tank move today.
Was not happy with the bucket...but surprisingly didn't splash at all when I took her out and back in her house.
