One night my Pleco decided not to move, and the next morning he was lifted off the sand by a 0.5" tall 2" wide pile of crap.
I personally love Cory catfish. They are small, and you could have a quartet of them in the 46g.Okay so instead of the plecos would pictus cats work? or would there be a better catfish/ bottom dweller for me because I also really like the normal catfish body shape.

Corys have been one of my favorites throughout my fish hobby life. In fact I went to the fish store today to get some. They are good for cleaning the bottom(but make sure they get their own food).+1
