Okay so instead of the plecos would pictus cats work? or would there be a better catfish/ bottom dweller for me because I also really like the normal catfish body shape.

I personally love Cory catfish. They are small, and you could have a quartet of them in the 46g.

Corys have been one of my favorites throughout my fish hobby life. In fact I went to the fish store today to get some. They are good for cleaning the bottom(but make sure they get their own food).

Absolutely thats why some lose Cories believing they are scavengers.

Hello everyone, I am back. Sorry I've been out, state tests are a b*tch lol. But I have had time to think and I have added a few species and such. Here is my current stocking Idea.

2 x German Blue Ram
12 x Black Phantom Tetra
12 x Bleeding Heart Tetra
4 x American Flagfish
6 x Agassiz Cory
6 x Ghost Shrimp

Rams are a delicate fish, and German Blues are the most delicate. You may want to look into something else.
