One that may not ever happen...

For those that don't know BJ penn's trainer is now stating that he had a sinus infection etc before the fight.
Making this his 6th excused loss so technically baby J is undefeated.
Jens Pulver= Bad decision
GSP1 = Bad decision
GSP = Greased and steroids (Steroids being a false accusation)
Sean sherk= Injury / steroids
Matt Hughes (When he got pounded to jelly after gassing) was a result of poor Baby J suffering an injury
And now we got Frankie Edgar where they claim a bad decision AND ! a terrible sinus infection. Anyone else starting to see a pattern here ?
BJ destroyed Sherk.

I would love to see this fight too at any weight class. I do believe if GSP can't take anderson down he will get a severe beating.
Reiner;4069379; said:Dana just needs to get over the Anderson - Maia fight. Before Anderson fought they anounced already that if he wins he'll fight GSP at 170. Then Anderson does what he did and Dana gets pissed of course and says now that he does not deserve to fight GSP. He wants to punish Anderson for his actions but the reality is the only people that get punished with this bulls**t is the fans for not seeing this fight. Remember how many years Dana was crying about Liddel vs. Wanderlei when Wandi was in Pride and how he wished for many years that this fight could happen and then once Wandi came back it did happen but both were past there prime. Now GSP and Anderson are both on top of there game and I'd pay $100 just to see this fight alone. I hope the UFS brass will change there mind and realize that NOW is the best time to make this fight. Both have really no clear and healthy challenger within there division so let them fight.

svang55;4069767; said:this isn't true, they didnt' officially announce anything. the only truth to it is Anderson mentioning during the countdown show that he may try dropping down to 170. he said something along the lines of "who knows, after this I may even drop down to 170"
something like that. then Joe Rogan mentions what Anderson had said during the fight some time and later Dana mentions that he didn't deserve to fight gsp the way he acted. I think that's all it was.
unless someone can provide a source, I'd say it was just talk although anderson can probably make 170, I'm not sure if it will be healthy for him or not sure how it would affect his performance. some people cut too much weight and they dont' perform well
hamato_yoshii;4070047; said:I don't think the move is great for either of them, but I think the best option is they fight at a catchweight, and it's not for either belt.
If Anderson can get to 170, GSP will beat him for sure.
