Silva almost lost. ROFL!!!!! ALMOST CHEAL !!! ALMOST! ROFL

The biggest upset fight of the year!!! Whoa!!! haha

wtf? that was only one tap and he realized he was okay. i'm so pissed

The Sonnen/Silva fight went how I thought it would, except that I didn't think Chael would've been able to do it as long as he did. Sonnen did exactly what he does, and he proved again that Anderson is weak against strong wrestling opponents. But, Silva showed why he is great, and that is, you just simply cannot make a mistake when you are fighting him. It sucks because I wanted that win for Chael, and I believe that when you get a chance to beat one of these guys, you have to do it, because the chance likely won't come again. Chael really benefited from that punch he landed in the first that knocked Anderson a little silly, and I think that he won three rounds before Silva really knew what happened. I feel about a rematch the same way I feel about Edgar/Penn 2, these great fighters just do not lose, or show up unprepared to equal or lesser talent, more than once. I knew Frankie's style would allow him to beat BJ, but I only think he had one shot at it, and Frankie did it, good for him, Chael didn't, and I don't think he will get close to a win in a rematch. I would guess that both of the rematch's will end in the "champ" (I'm counting BJ in this), now knowing what their opponent brings, and not letting them have thier chance to win the fight again. I feel bad for Chael because I think he had his shot, and missed it, but he shouldn't feel ashamed because he did what he said he would do, and almost took it.

Junior Dos Santos is a top 3 heavyweight, and there is a chance that he is the best Heavyweight. I have long been a Cain supporter (and JDS for that matter), and I picked Cain to beat Brock, but if that does happen, I will likely pick JDS to beat Cain. I believe at this point that either Cain or JDS is the best Heavyweight in the UFC, and it will just depend on how these fights set up to see who it is.

It sucks for Fitch that he was told he would get a shot before hand, and now it sounds like Dana might go back on it. I don't know what people though would happen but, Fitch is a world class wrestler, and Alves has shown that he is weak against wrestling, what should Fitch have done? Try to KO him? Good for Fitch, he deserves the shot. If GSP doesn't exist, Fitch is GSP.

Nice win for Hughes, it was funny to see 2 guys who can't fight in their feet kind of dance around each other for a while, I would guess because neither wanted to go to the ground, and all it took was one of them to connect for the fight to be over. Hughes still has a lot of talent, but if he fights anyone with sort of talent on their feet, he just can't win.

Svang, I will wear my loss with pride because I think I predicted what would happen, even though he lost, so I can feel good with that performance, not to mention, Struve had a sick comeback win !!! :headbang2

I think Chael beats Anderson if they fight again. I just can't believe it. I still think he was getting out of it and would have won the fight, but we'll never know.

That would be ridiculous if Fitch doesn't get a title shot after dismantling Alves like that.

I agree, BJ won't lose again (to Edgar this time at least).

I think Cain has a much better chance to beat Brock than JDS, but he still can. Cain has something that Junior doesn't...wrestling.

It was actually 2 taps
that can be debated. I saw one actual tap. However, you're supposed to tap or say tap 3 times if you're actually quitting...unless you're Fedor :D However, it's not totally the ref's fault as he shouldn't have tapped at all, but still.

After hearing Dana talk about it at the news conference, I get the sense that maybe Fitch will fight the winner of Kampmann/Shields, and that guy will get the shot.

But, Dana also really wants to make Fitch and Kos fight.
