update on my silver aro project 2/11/10

i have thought about being an importer/ wholesaler myself...just not sure on the permits i would need to do this in mn...
i got 4 more at 5-6" and added them to my last one from the first section of this project...they are cell phone pics...no sighn of serious agresstion from the original...just kinda looked at them hard...

i find what really helps is letting daylight be the only light during the day and then at night turn on the lights till you go to bed, really helped with mine at least

i have them infront of a bay window that i open every day to give light to them, my hydroponics and my aquatic plants...i also think that they are reder due to the light...i saw a dirct increase in the dagree of red when i had direct sun light on my 24"+ vs when i kept the blinds close...also the tank light is on from when i wake up till around 1-2am when i go to sleep...

Heres my arow update tigrey and sbuse.. he was 5" now hes 8"... with a new tankmate that i added today.. a 1" red oscar.. the oscar is kinda freaked out by how big the arow is.. but the arowana seems to want nothing to do with the o..

btw whats better combo with the oscar.. GT or JD? and uhh can i add the bgk.. or is the arow still to young?

thats how my oscar aro combo first started then the oscar got to big...just watch it...i have had my bgks with all sizes of aros...i don't recomend it but i had to...bgks are laied back and chill on the bottom for the most part...all cichlids are the same with aros at that size...
my comm...i have one left from the first 12 i got...it is 7-8"...i got 4 more around 4-6" and they are communing right now...have been for a week or so...
