  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Do you have an example of the bag you use? Trying to find a fine mesh bag with zipper and struggling.
I don’t have the exact brand but any fine mesh bag should do. Just saw these on Amazon.

Where do you get your driftwood?
They have been collected over time from all over the place. Most of it from PA,Nj, and Cali.

I guess the loose leaf roobios is large enough grain that you don’t need to worry about it being a fine micron.

Btw do you use probiotics at all?
It’ll bleed out some detritus but not to the point of making the water cloudy.

I just bought vita chem for the first time so I’ll be using it going forward.

How come the answer is never Lowes? :)

It's tough finding quality driftwood to use in tanks. You can order online but shipping is astronomical. I wish you could just pop in a landscape place and grab some

You can always source them in nature. Lakes and rivers.

I meant a probiotic like ridx or earthworm. I think vitachem is just vitamins.

That's what I do in winter when the water level drops. They don't have the dramatic effect of malaysian though. That's such a great design wood. Manzita is nice to for a root effect.
