The more I think about this topic, the more it impacts me... It should not be closed at all.

For those who are in favor of him living...

He gets his request and is given 100yrs w/out parole... A week later he tries to escape again (n makes it, long gone). Now what? He just moved into someones neighborhood...

Or, jails are booked up, can't let him go, let's let the molester go, no the wife beater, no the drive by shooter that missed, the rapist who just has 2years left anyways etc...

We get the short end and most of us didn't do nothing to deserve that or got our act together... The first time.

I think people do deserve second chances but how many does one get? Seems like everytime he got his paper work and buss money was a forgiveness IMO.

Thats where it gets really complicated. At that point, maybe his life should be brought to an end, but I sure wouldn't want to be the one who has to end it. Like I said in my earlier post, there is really no perfect solution.

Actually if im not mistaken, in Brazil you can legally kill your wife if you catch her cheating (FYI)

this is are main problem we try to group everyone together sure some can be helped and might go back and never commit a crime again,
should someone be released who raped someone or beat there wife its the same as the murder cases it depends.

someone sleeps with a girl who is underage which depends on what country or even state i think in the US say 15 or 17 year old, both consent to the sexual act should they really be grouped and punished with people who rape toddlers?

i think we need a clear stance which says if you do this you will loose your life
then we can work on help the ones that can be and dispose of the ones that cant

i think they should let the familys of the victims shoot him. that way its up to them if he dies or not. an eye for an eye i say. but i say shooting is to easy. i say stone him to death or just feed him alive to some big snake or something

i am a forgiving person... i can understand and overlook and understand reasons why people do some of the things they do..but.... I think child molesters and all murderers should die by execution... the same way they snuffed out that life should be reason they give up their own.......... to take a life is way above and beyond second chances.. the people they kill have no second chances... no time to be somewhere else and doing something else... no time left for love and joy and hobbys... it is gone their life.. snuffed out by someone who felt nothing but evil towards them... i have no sentiments for a murderer except they should pay the price.

That is an awful idea. I'm sure the murderer's family is already being put through enough emotional pain as it is. To force them to make such an impossible decision would just be heartless and cruel.

That is an awful idea. I'm sure the murderer's family is already being put through enough emotional pain as it is. To force them to make such an impossible decision would just be heartless and cruel.

Edit: I just noticed that you said the victim's family, but still the same applies (just pretend I said "victim's" instead of "murderer's").
