Sorry about your loss brother. You had a beautiful VATF there. Hope my ATFs get that big.
Really sorry for your loss Don.
I want to thank you though for the inspiration. This site is full of "your tank's not big enough" "You can't mix anything with them" type advice when it comes to ATF. That's why I never had any. It wasn't until seeing West's and yours that I figured to hell with it and give them a try..... For that I thank you.
For what it's worth, IF you were to ever venture up north, like say IA/MO boarder, I'd happily meet you with a free fish to fill the void in your tank, or the void that will be left when your grow outs move. A fish much less likely to crash into things........![]()

Damn, he was a real looker. What was the final measurements on him?
Nice offer Alan, my first thought was to offer my gatf at nc to you Don as I'm selling him but he's currently spoken for. FYI I kept my previous vatf and my current gatf with a whole slew of fish I shouldn't![]()

Really sorry for your loss your vatf was a stunner... I have a quick question i don't mean to hijack your thread or anything, but how is the personality of your card as compared to your trio of armatus? The general consensus seems to be that armatus are much more owner responsive. Thanks and sorry for your loss.

I am assuming by card you mean ATF.
The armatus come to the front of the tank when I walk in the room where the atf tended to move to the back of the tank. Also I believe I am finding that they dont appear to be as skittish as the atf was. Maybe because they are in a group, IDK since I am new to them I am still learning.
I am sure this will change once I move them.
