Same here, you two are making me feel normal, thank you for that, it's a real boost to my confidence.
Mind you niki, I once got some cheap crappy lights from the far east and they literally were in another language.....Chinese, Doh!
Haha maybe you used them in the low setting and that’s why they were crappy...maybe you just needed to hit A, B, A, B, AB.
This will likely be my last update in this thread, unless they end up breeding for me. Which I’m doubting.

Nice Syns you have. I really like the Syns colors, they are quite vivid. I really like your aquascape too, very natural. Hopefully they will breed for you. I know you will update if they do. Good luck with them!

Thank you!! They truly are plant destroyers lol...they may not eat them directly, but they do push and pull them around the tank quite a bit. This tank is ever changing bc of it. So far I have found the Anubis has lasted the longest.Hey

I should be picking up a vieja syn/mel belize and a heterospilus on Friday. Both are expected to be in the 1 inch to 2 inch range. It's my first attempt at CA's. I'm hoping for the best. The fish in this thread are so nice... and, it is also is a good read.
Lucky!! Those are some of the best color syn/Mel’s out there! We cannot get them here in my area.

Thank you...I can't wait to get my fish. I only got 1 syn and 1 heterospilus (plus a Astatheros Rostratus.) It's my first time dealing with this LFS. He put in a special CA order. I'm thinking if he has extras...I may get more. I'm just scared of breeding agression.
