just click on the link on my signature that says "my pride and joy" and see how oscars can really get. and keep in mind that mine isnt even 6 months old yet and is only half the size of a full grown oscar.
dont get us wrong, oscars are amazing fish to own, but its really not fair to them to keep them in that tank. if you have a heart, do the right thing and either buy the larger tank or give them to someone who can take care of them properly. most people say that 75-125g is enough, but in all honested id NEVER keep my oscar in anything less than my 200 gallon. the bigger the space, the stronger their personalities become and the more fun they are to watch.
btw, people here may seem rude, but none of us really are. we just enjoy beating up on the new guys to break them in lol we've all been through it man, dont let it get to you.
and to everyone replying to this or reading it, yeah this guy clearly made a mistake. but im pretty sure all of us have done something this foolish, if not worse. its all redemable, just do the right thing for the fish, ok?
