No One has mentioned African Butterfly Fish? Come on now...thats the ultimate mini-monster! Well thats my opinion at least. They also really prefer planted tanks.

Did someone seriously suggest a senegal bichir? It won't out grow a ten before he graduates? Mabye if he's going to school for six months....:)

I figured at nine or ten inches a bichir would be okay by itself in a ten, but I guess I forgot just how small that is. I've only had mine for about a year, I checked out your gallery, how old\big are those? I'm no expert in bichirs.

i just got 7 exodons for my 10 gallon and am very dissapointed...i had two 3-4" golden wonder killies that would take down feeders and any type of bugs that will fit in thier mouth...cool fish cuz they are small and have a huge mouth but the exodons eventually killed them by eating thier scales at night...thats all they do eat scales, dont eat the fish just take the scales...I would go with a couple of puffers

i wouldn't go african butterfly. they are very boring IMO. Maybe a pair of breeding kribs in the 10 gallon?

I'm going to try something along the lines of blue rams, some cories, and maybe a bull pleco. I have a similar thread going on.

either rams or exodons. If you want a butterfly, might as well get a tray of water since the whole bottom of the tank is unused. Not a very fun fish unless you need something to decorate the top of your tank.

A pair of Red Jewels along with a red claw crawfish for the bottom and a couple of tiger barbs....
