Want mini-monster suggestions

and the fact that senegals are the most active bichir and are almost always on the move. I have a 6 incher and he makes the 55 gallon tank seem too small with all of his activity.
 
yea i think some rams and corys in a planted tank would look cool
or you could get a few african shellies that would be cool also
 
Although this is an old thread I would like to mention that with a 10g size limit there are still a few fish that would work nicely. For tiny but unusual fish there are pygmy sunfish such as the Okiefenokie sunfish. The leopard ctenopoma is barely feasible while the African butterfly really needs more room.
My vote for a tank of this size would be either a breeding pair of Lorentzi puffers, or a pair of either black-banded or blue-spotted dwarf sunfish with a nice small cat such as a S. petricola.
 
i see everybody keeps mentioning rams . my question is are they even aggressive like that or predtory like that . I thought they were just peaceful cichlids
 
In my dorm ive got a nano reef! they are really cool, but expensive. However nothing more relaxing than watching a clown swim through the live rock.
