Did WC on 2 -- 125 gallon Frontosa Tank, 2 --- 75 gallon mixed African Cichlids and 40 gallon breeder tank that has juvenile Tropheus. Took 3 hours, but had a cold one between tanks....
I don't even drain my tank anymore. One hose to my basement drain, one hose from the utility sink into the sump. Capful of prime every 15-20 minutes added to the sump. Haven't touched a bucket in over a year.

I have to agree with Gill Blue. If you have a hose running into the basement drain already, why not just let it empty the tank down to the desired level, then refill it after that........instead of doing both things simultaneously, where I would have to imagine that you're also ridding a good percentage of "new" water along with "old" water.this is a very poor way to change water. dilute it, yes, but you aren't removing near as much fish waste/old water as you would if you drain and fill.
That's the same as my schedule lol. I do 50% on Sunday and 25% Wednesday. Or vice versa if parameters are up to par
