Water is clear but not perfect

i use purigen for my tanks and works great....much better than carbon(that i used before) and can be recharged quite easily...many times over
 
I think bacteria has a lot to do with clear water as well. All of my tanks started out with less than perfectly clear water; no matter how much or type of filtration I used. At around the six month time frame, it clears on its own and the fish appear to be floating in air.

this is true also. this happened on my 100g during the first few months
