I'm close to that. I can push 850 on the leg press
I remember when I did that once...I was trying to outlift a brock lesner-sized marine next to me in the gym....I put up 775 3 times...I was so stoked...then he proceeded to add 4 more plates and his equally-sized friend on the sled....and pushed it 8 times....I left the gym so defeated that day hahaha.
I have never used a leg press lol. I have barely touched any conventional weights

leg press is my go-to since my knees and left ankle aren't in great shape right now. Squatting heavy is kind of out of the picture for a bit, but I can still manhandle 10 plates on the press with bad knees haha

Thank you everyone for the motivation and the kind words. My depression has been pretty bad lately compacted with my favorite fish being sick and guy trouble(of course lol). And just been disillusioned with other stuff. Exercise is usually my outlet. The funny thing is I "should," know how to motivate myself. I was a personal trainer and instructor for 7-8 years until this summer. Usually I can force myself to do something no matter what and love exercising. But last week was really hard.

I always have trouble with the food, especially wanting to eat sweets all the time. This week has been better and back to normal workout wise. Just trying to remember that it's okay starting from the bottom and modifying things. I've had to do this 3x now, but this time is the longest "recovery" phase I've done without completely re-injuring everything.

Current goals:
- deadlift 200 lbs again. (currently at 135..slowly working back up)
- 120lb front squat. (current at 80).
- 5 pullups again( currently can only do 1-2 chin ups)
- bench 125 again( currently at 75)

Hahahaah my goal is to get out of bed with out saying "ow" lol

If you want muscles it takes alot of work and lots of food. I train push and pull ie.
Mon chest and back
Tuesday shoulders and arms
Wed off
Thurs legs and arms
Fri chest and back
Sat shoulders and arms.
Training days eat till you feel sick then eat more. Plenty of protien 1 to.2 grams per pound
I don't do cardio

Thats exactly what i used to do eat , eat eat eat eat but im not sure it was the healthiest way to out on size.

Closest thing to cardio for me was kettle bells

I was talking about the squat, bench and deadlift club. I haven't ever done leg presses.

Cardio is my thing right now. I doubt my ability to build at this point. Anyway my position can't be a beef mountain. Lean and mean for rugby is my idea

Just don't lock out your knees or you'll have really bad knees. If you lock them out you can easly hyper extend them backwards. 10 plates is pretty good the most I've thrown on was 18 but it gets scary with that type of weight one wrong move I'd get a trip to the hospital

I've been rock climbing for about a year and a half now.
It's pretty fun.

Weights are addictive. I went heavy back in grade 11 or so was around 5'9 180 around 15% bf then stopped for 2 years because of a broken collar bone. I'm now around 5'9 180 again but not as lean. Workout is different muscle groups every day (back-bis, chest, shoulders I give it's own day, arms, legs, then circuit training for the last day) no real cardio until late February when I start my cut. Hoping to add a bit more weight prior to then. Actually heading to the gym now

I never thought about it, but I'm over the 1000 lb goal, bench, squat and dead lift. I can't do it now but my best bench was 480lbs, 500 was my goal, still is my goal. I never wanted to have big thick legs, but my best squat was 550lbs, my best dead lift was 565 lbs. Since we bought this house, I was not going to the gym for 2 years. Just started going back in January, I'm currently up to 13 reps for 315lbs on the bench. Here soon I will start working out with 405 lbs. I'm probably not where I used to be, but here soon, really soon I will attempt it to see where I'm at.
