well i think i am going to be adding 10-15 Clown loaches there
and will be getting black chips as substrate
and the combo is still fine without any trouble other than the cons trying to keep half the tank for themselves

Well as long as the Jar doesn't consider the other fish a food source you should be fine. Untill the GT and RD get bigger and the Jar may see them as a threat to his territory. I would pull the the breeding cons though, they will only add stress to the entire tank.

At some point you will have to consider the value of the fish in the tank and whether or not you want to continue this risky combonation.

oops had forgotten to add that there is a jag too its a male at 3.5" precisely

yup gotta remove those little buggers(cons) as they are causing quite a lot of unwanted trouble in the tank

now that i think about it, even if this combo works for an year or so still you never know when the jar thinks he wants the remaining tank space and decides to reclaim it
but i want to wait it out and see for how long i can keep this thing running without any mishaps
as they say its almost always a hit or miss thing when stocking monster preds

may be you are right
but how will you know for sure if you don't try it out
there are a few people who have kept jardinis with many CA/SA chiclids
and i sure want to try it out for myself, and am going to be as careful as possible and have extra tanks and hospital tanks(if need be)

actually the HRPs are the ones which haven't been as harassed as the thorychthis meeki have been

today i cam home to find one of my thorychthis meeki to be in my jags mouth LOL
anyway so i am reduced to 2 fire mouths now

and i added some tiger barbs today 17 to be precise, they look awesome schooling around my jag and my GT both have tried a few times to down a few of them, but their evasive technique is quite good, i am not hoping all of them to survive, and may be none may survive, but they are just like feeders

Mine is starting to get more and more aggressive. I had to remove my 2" gold saum cuz the jar was beating it up. It chases the pikes, but they are too fast and can hold their own (at least for now). It doesn't really bother any of the bottom fish (marbled goby and bichirs) or even the flagtail that much. It doesn't seem to like cichlids very much but isn't bad with other stuff. I might try it in my 210, but I'm not sure.
