I've been looking for the perfect wet pet for my 29 tall, and I've given up so i'll ask you guys. I LOVE PARACHROMIS SPECIES, but none of them can fit in a 30. But that gives you a genre of fish that i'd like. But yeah, I'm asking you guys (and girls) what a good wet pet would fit in this tank.

What's the dimensions? Anything but apistos would be big.

What defines wet pet for you?

To me a wet pet is a personable fish, often kept alone and is the favorite fish. (oscars, red devils, midas, dovii, anything of that nature).
The dimensions are:
30" L
12" W
18" T

A sajica cichlid may work then

Thats a little small. Could I get something bigger? 8-9"?
I'd recommend a 48" tank for that.

Welcome to MFK☺

Tbh your aquarium is too small for a fish that size that is why Hendre Hendre suggested the Sajica cichlid.
+1

Check out "Dan Hiteshew" on YouTube. He has a lovely male sajica

Convict, Firemouth, Acara, Sajica, or Rainbow cichlid.

Of course you can get a green terror, but you will never be able to post on these forums again because everyone will roast you alive (they will already hate me for even mentioning it) but you will get what you want.

Apparently someone kept one for almost 4 years, looks like a nice fish to me.

Dwarf puffer.
Keeping a green terror in that tank would be nothing short of cruel in my eyes.
Dwarfs or red eyes would be a good addition for sure! Easily big enough for either species and very interesting fish
