They're pretty cute and personable. I'll look at some species.Cryptoheros species stay small and are very personable.
They're beautiful but they have very thin narrow bodies which gives them an even smaller look. I would prefer a heavier bodied fish.No one mentioned a Jewel cichlid. They get to 5in and are beautiful.
That green terror does look fine in that tank, and my local fish store loves cichlids so I might grow something like that out.Convict, Firemouth, Acara, Sajica, or Rainbow cichlid.
Of course you can get a green terror, but you will never be able to post on these forums again because everyone will roast you alive (they will already hate me for even mentioning it) but you will get what you want.

I probably wont. If its shunned upon, I dont want to look like that crappy keeper with the oscar in a 10 gallon.I would strongly recommend against doing that.
