Wet pet / mini monster?

Did a presentation on there once. This is a dumb question, but you DO have restrictions up there, correct?

Sort of. All non-native fish that can tolerate temperatures of under 5 degrees celcius for extended periods are restricted. Everything else goes. The laws regarding fish are strangely enough, for Norway, very liberal. Amphibians for example are restricted all together, and so were reptiles up until a few months ago; there's now a short list of about 20 reptiles we're allowed to keep. Of course pretty much every species of reptile anyone would ever keep as a pet wouldn't have a minute chance of establishing itself in the wild, but never mind logic am I right?

No iguanas, anoles, tiger salamanders, or tortoises that are keep able? Where I live pretty much anything we can keep, only problem is nobody does = nobody sells it.

Milk/king/corn snake, a couple species each of boa and python, crested and leopard gecko, dwarf monitor and ocellated lizard. Also bearded dragon and a couple of turtles.

No Iguana. They're apparently very dangerous.

Iguanas arent dangerous, they're no worse than a bearded dragon or a monitor. I swore to myself Im gonna get an Argentine black/white tegu someday, lol.

Well yesterday was a sad day. My 10" Jaguar that I have had for a year now and raised from 4" died. He was a wet pet and had the tank to himself. No idea how he got sick because water quality was always in check since I am very ocd/regimented about caring for all my tanks. Seemed like some sort of internal infection/fungus that just did not react to any meds I tried on him for the past 2 weeks.

Anyway, I now have a 120g 4'x2'x2' tank open and just trying to kick around some ideas of what I want to do with it. Still like Jag's but not sure if I really want another one right now. 4x2x2 is a good size tank but obviously not big enough for any true "Monsters" like gar or aro's or anything of that nature. Not a fan of things like Dovii or flowerhorns. Was kicking around the idea of a Black ghost knife but hear they are pretty nocturnal and not sure I want a big tank with a fish I never see. Anyone got any ideas for mini-monsters maybe I'm not thinking of yet?
Here are some cool options
SINGLE FISH TANK OPTIONS:
Nile pufferfish
Buttikoferi tilapia
Golden cobra snakehead (if there legal)
Female festae cichlids
Mala wolf fish
PREDATORY COMMUNITY OPTIONS:
Polypterus
Synodontis Angelicus for a wow fish
Leopard bushfish
African knife fish
L14 pleco

Wolf fish are cool, that's one I forgot on my mini-list. Those thing are shredders when they eat!

Polypterus hands-down. Get a tank of senegals and you have some busy worms on your hands! Tough as nails and very fun fish! :)

Senegals are cool, I agree with Hendre Hendre as you can get them pretty much anywhere as well.
