Wet pet / mini monster?

I know you said you don't like dovii or flowerhorn but how do you feel about red tiger motaguense? They are similar to Jags and have some nice coloration. I'm told they can be pretty mean too, which I think is awesome.

Been reading up on Polypterus for the past few hours since someone mentioned that. I'm really leaning towards them at the moment. I especially like the looks of the Endlicheri, the fins and coloration on that one are just great looking.

There's a fish shop about 30mins from me that is owned by one of the guys in our club that carries oddball / monster type fish, I emailed him a bit ago and he said he has all sorts of Polypterus in the shop right now so I think I may head out there early next week and see some of them in person and see how I like them.

Don't get endlicheri, They aren't very active compared to the polypterus, if you want something your gonna see move, senegals are better, although a bit smaller.

Endlicheri gets huge, and are notorious for eating their friends. I'd go for one of the smaller more active species, the Senegalus and Polli would be the most active ones, and also Delhezi.

Steve get a endli bichir. It's all part of the experience I honestly would recommend a bichir carpet with a wolf fish. I'm a big hoplias guy so I'm biased

And BTW Dloks Dloks , your not biased if you like awesome fish, nobody can blame you!
