that guy is really nice, the solid brown one, and i assume they can be help quiet offten and not bother? i checked the site but down so i will google it now..

thanks for the info

The browns are female, the greens are male. The green gets intense in the breeding season, but the males can get duller and more like the female when it's not.

They're endangered here, and therefore you can't keep them... kind of. They're super strict with it, and you need proof that they are a number of generations captive bred and not UK stock... which is virtually impossible. You need a license just to photograph these buggers!

so i wouldnt be able to get any? or is that just for in the uK?

Oh coura i found the proper link fromn the one you posted before

Dealer =
http://www.agamainternational.com/

i just cant find on there site lacerta agilis,

EDIT:

I called the people at the above link and asked about the lacerta agilis and they said they dont have them any more, and to email them to talk to bert (the owner) directly so i guess i would have to email and hope for the best ...

Could try a uromastyx.
there awsome. a breeding colony of leos would be awsome. your son would enjoy them as well

Lacertas are restrict in Europe but in the states you can have then without restricions:D I like the L agilis but still think the ocelated lizard Lacerta lepida is the greatest. Also in the states you are able to get other genus of lacertids like Gallotia sp the canari lizards wich have the great advantage of being omnivorus and tend to be very friendly to the owner. Saw a few for sale a wille on kingsnake. They were kind of pricey but not to much.:D

Didn't realise they were restricted in all EU countries, thought it might just be the UK.
