I just emailed switzer because they havnt had ads in a while and their site is outdated I think.Hope they are ok,she should get back to me,Ill look at the ear dragons whatever the heck that is,lol.

on the reptile page on the switzer site looked really nice and different but seen pics on google and they seem to be like the water dragons and igunas and i dont want to go those routes...though i almost had a winner

if you ask me they look semi aquatic.Dont know anything about them, you know for me most green dragon type lizards are always like tweeker skittish little things but Ive never kept one, only from observing friends or shops.

LOL @ TWEEKER SKITTISH, WELL IM OFF to bed now .. im gonna check out a reptile spot in whittier that just opened and see any i like and bring the names here and do some research...

thanks agian

Some good stuff about the bts,I know, just so you know,Im not pushing, you do hat you want.Just so you know though, they are heavy bodied with no pokey spikes so it feels good and solid holding them.If they get on the ground, they are much slower than anything else, you could catch it easy and it wont dart off into oblivion. If in a hurry or out of town, ppl can feed it easy like with cat food if they are afraid of the worms and such, snails or whatever. No special lighting, just a basking light,no heat pads and crap.I only say all this because Ive had so many dang herps and these were not my fav looking herps, but after reading up and being around some, plus watching some vids on youtube I wanted something more like a real pet.It was this or an ackies but I wanted something more chill yet heavy bodied.I will never regret it,only bad thing about them,if not on a regular feeding scedual they poop as they please.I hear to get them on a scedual and you can predict it better.Just some more info for you guys.Your doing good research though, again good luck.

well mine is not set up as a natural cage,I whent with dust free oderless aspen shavings because he can burrow witch he loves and its cheaper to spot change on a regular basis since they go to the bathroom everyday.I use aspen, large hide log,2 bricks also up by the hide log so he can bask at dif levels, large doggy water bowl, feed dish, heat lamp with a dimmer, large dome,.Get the good calcium powder with d3,and I also get the repti vit without d3.I use them in alternating, just depends what Im feeding. That care sheet on bts.net should give you tons of stuff.Let me know as you find one or 2 and I will tell you what I think and what to watch out for.Ill see if I got a pic of my cage, its not pretty, but he loves it and its easy to maintain.Oh yeah I got a good pic, btstank.JPG
