I've run a Rena Filstar XP-3 for over 9 years now. Not a single problem with it. I Just purchased a second one last October and run both on a larger tank. I highly recommend them, although they are getting pretty pricey.

I already voted but a just got a FX5 yesterday and wow what a filter!!

I will only use ehiem from now on. Have a classic on my 180 for 10 years now, not 1 problem. I have a pro two on my 1 year old 55 gallon. Love the self prime button and quick disconnect. It also has the heater in it, keeps the temperature pegged at 78.
