My PH is around 7.8 - 8.0. And the water is fairly hard. Probably in the moderately hard range. I don't mind softening the water up with peat moss or something else. Just wondering how the plants would react and if dropping PH and DH would be stable. I was really hoping to breed some rams or apistos. But I don;t want them to die or be unable to breed.
ummm im a convict freak ( much like other cichlids to ) but yes, there is NO money value in convicts..... they are the rats of the fish world.. hmmm try some thorichy ( sp ) aureus or mixteco or other types of firemouths ( besides meekis unless they sell good )
cons are beautiful fish but are too easy to breed, so--like said before--theres no money in them. *unless* you wanna do some hybridization, I breed my conXfm in a 30 gallon
Angels are easy to breed but hard to sex so it might take a while to get a pair, unless you buy older adults i think. Dwarf cichlids are good too, i get pretty decent money for breeding my rams
