What do you HATE about fish keepers/keeping?

I really don't like it when people get fish for free/cheap with intentions of making money off of it.
Or people who don't have the means to house a certain fish, but would rather keep it in deplorable conditions because they can't get the price they are asking for.

I hate ich. I'm not sure, but it kind of looks like my oranda has an ich spot on her wen, and especially as someone who has been in the hobby for several years, just the thought that ich somehow got past me, and that I made the newb mistake of letting ich into my tank, or didn't acclimate appropriately, or SOMETHING, is like a slap in the face. I should know better.
Also, water changes with a 5 gallon bucket, moving big fish, and my little cramped house with limited space for fish.

Goldfish of any "design" can get something called carp pox. It starts out looking like ich. I have some goldies that have it.. It looks like little waxy white spots. It's not curable, but lies dormant in warmer waters.

Having the government tell us that we can't keep specific fish (I partially agree, but we should be able to buy a license to keep these fish instead of a total ban).

haha, Ive done that. Just so you know. Yes, I did feel bad about it. Yes, I did go apologize to that particular employee. Yes, I do shop there frequently now. And yes, I do have a guilty conscience.
As for what I hate is the humidity it causes. My garage door is literally covered in a layer of water since I put my heaters in my open top 700.

And I believed you when I read your post. I should have re-phrased my statement...what I meant is it seems to be the current MFK thing everytime a Petsmart/Petco post shows up, someone has to claim they cussed out, beat up, chased off or got one of the employees fired for giving false advice. If this actually happened everytime someone said they did it, Petsmart employees would receive Hazardous Duty pay! In your case, I believe you did lol
