i agree!!! no one on here actually helps.
the only helpfull people a have seen is xander and jcardona.
everyone else (i wont name names) are just bored and looking for someone to flame or insult
or is a kid tryin prove himself with crap he googled on the internet
alot of the problem is the younger people i think

Me too I help when I can. Chloe I didn't know you didn't keep fish anymore,why? I love my reps too but still gotta have my fish. They bring serenity to my otherwise chaotic life. Lol! Though I love the portability of my pythons. Heck ones keeping company right now.

but i really do think the younger people on here are what has driven this forum into the ground. there is no respect anymore bc half the posts are of some thirteen year old tryin to build a thousand gallon pond in there closet. so people have to flame others to make sure they are seriuos
its like a local pet store owner, he is a major dick but is prob the most knowledgeable person i know as far as snakes and fish. but he gives you a hard time and is very forward to make sure his animals are goin to a good home and that you take them seriuosly.

I don't know which sections you guys are refering to but I mostly go in the piranha section and never see any of you there other then kevinfleming (no mods either except harleyk) and people will ask the same questions repeatedly. Just the other day someone posted about keeping a piranha with a gar and it worked for 3 weeks...and then the gar was half eaten and literally the very next thread is "can i keep a rainbow wolf with my 3 piranhas"
What do i do? Ask him if he read the thread right before this and send him the link and point out the search function. I'm all for starting new threads and love the convos but I won't repeatedly answer the same question over and over when it's already up as a current topic too (not to mention the sticky on piranha tankmates for example). I guess in some of your guy's view, i'm a bad guy for that? Plus we know that repeated convos about the same subject will eventually lead to debates that we don't want to have again.
I try not to judge, I don't think its necessarily the young hobbyists. I think maybe some of us lost our way dealing with trolls. I think the best way to handle it is to answer first see what the OP does with the info and take there next post with a grain of salt next time if they prove unworthy of help. All I'm saing is give people the benefit of the doubt and of our knowledge until they prove they dont deserve it.
