I like that my posts disappointed yet they are quoted in their entirety by 2 different members lol. This subforum has been not moderated forever. Mods dont clean up useless threads which in the end feed an entire new generation of here say and misinformation. Wonder why they dont have an actual active user of those subforums moderate them? Mfk was once the elite of online fish community. Now its a candy coated facebook competitor. Maybe its just the hybrid subforum?

Maybe instead of insulting the site..... you could try to help by asking if you could moderate this part of the forum...

Yea an active member since 2011 having to ask to moderate a beloved forum, not my style.
Why would you take that as an insult to the site? Maybe it was directed at the specific mod who followed through with the ax job on my posts because some crybaby reporting them for whatever reason they had.
Somebody telling you the truth and wanting to help you is much nicer in my opinion than looking the other way or encouraging falsehoods that have you trapped in an inferior fish keeping habit.

Nah, it is really best to have no practical fish keeping or breeding experience in the end. That way you can pretend all these stupid names are actually different fish and believe they are established strains. Buy $35 an oz food to feed them. Call non-hybrids hybrids and assume you can mix fish and have a 50/50 split phenotype in the fry. Maybe cry to mods when people try to explain the reality.
"Cichlids Keeper" with a self confessed 10 gallon tank limit lol alright then. Still doing research typing away but never getting your hands wet and seeing what hybrid spawns produce.

I don't know why you're so passionate about this. I just asked for some information on a term I remembered. I don't really mind the recommendations about Breeding guppies either but you are being really aggressive. It discourages newbies like me when more experienced keepers start talking down to us. Also my name doesn't make sense, so what am I supposed to name myself future cichlid keeper ( autocorrect added an s for some reason). If you really are upset you can talk to the mods.

You are just falling for crap that has persisted amongst the fh community too long but you have almost 15 years of fh info in this forum alone to peruse until you actually can have the fish you want.

It's going to be at least three years until I can even move out of my current apartment, probably more. It doesn't really bother me if I fall for something right now considering I'm new to Cichlids and I have many years before I can even own any larger Cichlids. Trust me I have a lot of time, especially now, to get the info I need to care for fish that I want. Thank you for the offer though.

You got the ax not for the "truth", but for your delivery. There is an expectation of decency on this forum, and if you can meet that expectation, then the appropriate action was taken by my moderator.

I have no idea why you would see a void in leadership and/or expertise in an area of the forum and decide to rage about it instead of offering to help. I would have happily added you to the team had you only offered to help instead of taking that absence as an insult.

I'm frankly confused as to how we arrived at this situation. You could have easily reported this content if you felt it was objectionable, instead you attacked.

You've been around long enough to remember how things were I'm the old days, and you were around when I made it clear that this behavior wouldn't be tolerated.

Hopefully this is just the results of a bad day and not the loss of a member permanently. Your probationary status isn't permanent.
