What is everybody feeding their rays?

I think its every individuals preference. No offense but if you actually did your research the best diet for cats and dogs is the barf diet. You might have lucked out because your rays eat pellets but not all rays eat pellets. I cant get some of my fish to eat pellets so I soak them and inject them into the worms.

I am happy to have all my rays on pellets but do believe that variaty is key to heathly rays. I feed my Rays a variaty of foods and have found some good foods for relative a low cost, best food I have found for value is Martin Classic Sinking Fish Food, a 25 kg bag cost me 80 dollars cnd shipped to my door now compared to a 13.4 oz bag of Hikari Massivore Delite which cost about 30 dollars cnd (if you can find it that is) and the new food i have added is New Life Spectrum Mega Fish Formula which is avalible in Canada and sells for about 80 dollars for a 63.4 oz bucket. How I mix it all up is I feed The Classic Sinking one day then next day Massivor then Cassic Sinking then NLS then I For a treat once a week I feed fresh prawns or some other fresh fish. All my rays have never looked so good and there colors all are amazing. This mix up of food initail seems expensive as you have to buy the same values of weight but it has saved me money, compered to feeding them fresh/frozen seafood everyday.

The second best thing you can feed your dogs/cats is dry manufactured good quality food. The best is a raw or BARF diet. I feed my rays nightcrawlers, market shrimp, ghost shrimp, black worms, masivore, and they are thriving. I think the point is a varied diet is the best, I wouldn't want to eat the same thing day in and day out even if it was the best for me, and I feel the same way for my rays.

its the amount of good stuff thats in 1 pellet compared to loads of fresh foods

no point in filling a ray up with prawn and night crawlers if you need to add extra vitamins when you can get the same results without adding the vitamins
