What is the Pound 4 Pound toughest/nastiest cichlid

Pike Cichlids, Gapuote, Pavone. In that order.

Yeah pikes can be relentless!! When they dont like that one fish and snap its remove the fish. No divider. Just remove the fish. Ive seen my midas be bullies but not killed anyone. The only fish that has brought a fish near death was my pike.

I understand everybody is stuck on this pound for pound.............so at the end of the day, there would be no cichlid with the weapons of a dovii. They have the largest fangs of any cichlid at any size, they are the fastest fish I have ever seen, maybe a umbee is faster but they don't have the fangs of a dovii, and Dovii by far have the worst attitude you will ever see in a fish. PERIOD!! I gotta go with a Dovii

no one has ever mentioned festae cichlids on here. i thought they were supposed to be extremely aggressive. both of my 1.5 inch festeae took on my 3in male convict which lasted about 30 seconds. i still give them props for that because my con is a cold hearted murderer. but the fetaes show a lot of aggression between each other at only 1.5in.

either a male convict or a five star jewel they are in my friends 40g he sold me with a divider, they constantly try to kill eachother you can hear them banging on the divider while i'm watching tv or on MFK because as of right now i can hear them trying get eachother

I have a six inch male JD and he owns my entire 6 ft long 85 gallon tank. Chases other fish around constantly i.e. green terror, mayans, midevil, and a couple convicts. He is mega bulky. or maybe just overweight.
