Don't worry man I've got 19 tanks setup too and I just like watching my fish swim too. That other guy's the real idiot. At least you're trying to learn, that's all that matters is you want the best for your fish. You're right about needing a bigger tank and dealing with a monster fish. Jag's are known for that LOL.

What you got there is a nice fish, many people on this form would regard P. Managuense as one of their favorite fish, they are mean, and they grow to a fairly large size. IMO to if you want you JD to live you need to get a bigger tank, Jags get over 12" easy, and are highly territorial.

Thanks for all the help everyone! I'm getting more fond of this fish the more I read and research him. I think the problem is I had his living arrangements wrong (user error). I'm going to get a 135 and put him in with a female with no plants and just a few hiding places. At least now I know what the fish is, and have a good idea that it's male. Oh, I'll also pay no attention to the sales people at Petsmart anymore...
