Have you tested your water?
Yes
If I did not test my water...
  1. ...I recognize that I will likely be asked to do a test, and that water tests are critical for solving freshwater health problems.
Do you do water changes?
Yes

Hello again,
I recently upgraded my tank for my fish a week ago and so far all my fish are more active and doing fine. Like two days after my tank was running my Saddled Bichir jumped out the tank and was on the floor for about 15 to 20 mins. Still alive so I put him back in the tank. I had other bichirs in the past do the same and survive and go on with their lives but this saddled bichir looks like he may have issues. He's gotten more pale white each day. I have pictures before and after the jumping out. I don't know if he has eaten but found him in a new spot in the tank everyday now. I read online that he might be stressed out from the fall but idk. Don't know whats wrong with him and may need some advice!
P.S. I checked my water for anything and it all checks out. Nothing high or anything. None of my fish are aggressive to the bichir. I have other bichirs and they are all doing great. The saddled bichir was swimming alot once the tank was up and running also

Clean water and salt 1 tsp per g for now. Update as it goes. Would hold off on feeding till it starts acting normal.

That does look washed out. I agree, monitor and add a bit of salts (electrolytes). It will either recover or it won't.

These bichirs are tanks, though. I think it will be fine with time.
