What is your biggest fear in fish keeping?

I;d like to thank those of you who brought up infection and diseases we can catch from our fish. Now I have another fearLOL!

Tornado ripping the roof off my room and taking everything inside with it.
It's a valid concern around here.

Been there. Done that. Here's a 8ft x 4ft 360 gal that a side band picked up out of my yard, blew it over a 7ft fence, and carried it an additional 75 ft where the wind smashed it against a big oak tree on the edge of the side yard.

A friend of mine who works for Dept of Ag, just informed me to apply for crop insurance for fin fish production, not sure if it applies only to edible species but it would cover crop loss in natural disaster. It is very affordable, I believe its a one time fee of $50.00; thank you taxpayers. I'm still looking into details but any commercial producers may want to look into it.

I don't really have fears, but I have definitely thought of a few things that would send me through the roof.
1)Kids (or their friends) doing something to cause damage or loss of a tank.
2)Natural disaster causing a loss and insurance making an excuse not to replace it.
3) The fix stupid ideology of banning anything and everything. I see it becoming like guns. Registering your pet and it's place of residence and have a yearly check in and a massive fine if you no longer have the pet and didn't turn in the body.

I worry about leaks obviously. I have a 265 and at work we calculated that if it all leaked out it would cover my entire house with 3/8ths of an inch of water.

My tank has already leaked twice. im on my 2nd re seal and fingers crossed. Both times it leaked while i was at work and my wife had to call me to come home.

Sux. But you do what you gotta do.
