It's sad that we don't get to experience many of the fish's natural behaviors in the aquarium.

I had a fossorochromis rostratus, aka malawi sand diver, that lived up to its name. I had just got him out of the bag, looked over at the tank a minute later and there was sand flying everywhere. I thought a filter output came loose, but it was just this huge 10" cichlid trying bury himself in 1-2 inches of sand, which they do in nature to escape threats.
