what to stock in a 1 gal

i wasnt going for bettas... i'd like to have more then one fish... and i havent had luck with compatible bettas in the past ( male and female that is)

What you did was not advisable. Obviously, the male can harass the female before and after spawning season. No fish. You can put cherry shrimps but no more other than that.

no the bettas werent int he 1 gallon they were actually in a 15, just the two of them... and it was a heavy planted tank... so i dont kno why i've had zero luck with bettas
