what to stock in a 1 gal

Personally I would put in some small shrimp or something, and maybe put something in front of the filter to slow down the current.

go to petco or petsmart, they have alot of fish that are tiny, just fine one that doesn't grow. I can't think of anything that in 1 gallon for life to be a happy fish. Maybe make a mini plant and snail w/ shrimp tank?

Your advice is hardly valid. What fish are they and what fish do not grow?

Like some of us said, shrimps and snails are the only best choice. No fish.

You could put in some ghost or cherry shrimp and if you want fish galaxy rasboras are very small. There was another species I saw at the lfs that stays small in the tank with the rasboras but I forgot the name. With those youd still be at 1 or 2 fish tops..

You could also do a male endler or two.
