What weapons would you get?

I'm in the process of building an AR 15 (I know your not a fan), but i love the 5.56 round and the accessories you can get for them are endless! I don't think you should rule one out yet. All the guns you have mentioned are sweet though!

here's the one i finished. its a Spikes Tactical lower and CMMG upper, with a bunch of other stuff. i later added a Bushnell Trophy red dot scope (not pictured)

sweet! i just finished mine a few months back, it was my first AR and my first gun build. i would do so many more if i had the cash

Ive had ARs plus I might just pick up a lower for like $80 as that is all youd need in case of a ban.

damn is that what a new lower costs over there?!?!?! cheapest ive seen in Cali for any brand is $150+

Well I dont know now but some lowers can be had for that cheap around here.

The last lower I bought was $65! These are for stripped lowers BTW.

Umm.....hmmmm.....I'm not sure. It's not the free-floating one. I wasn't worried about that option, I also have a 20" barrel A2 that is accurate as heck and it's pretty stock. The gunsmith I was friends with past away recently so now I will have to find a new one that is willing to work on my scary black rifles because I plan on picking up a free-floating quad rail for my A2

oh ok. yeah i had the rail installed at the time i bought my upper since its a PIA to install. when you get the free float one, i think youll like the way the light weight one looks. its overall design looks much better than the regular one. and its lighter!

I think I need some advice on a nice handgun to carry. I've got a shotgun in the house, but I feel more and more like I need to get a handgun before regulations are tightened.

I'd like to get an affordable 9mm since I could take it to the range and shoot it inexpensively.

What would you suggest? Sorry for the slight derail.

man thats nuts. i guess thats what CA laws do to the prices. and yeah, thats what we pay for stripped lowers. i dont think anybody will sell a fully built lower, too risky.

and the worst part is that there are no FFLs in my area that would even do the transfer. i have to drive about 3 hours one way to see pretty much the only guy in CA that is willing to sell these things. god i hate this state
