what were your first thoughts when you discovered MFK?

I think one of the best things for me is that this site has shown me that some of the stuff that people i know think is weird alot of other people all across the world are doing. So maybe that doesnt make us weird at all maybe its the people that think we are weird that are weird:nilly:
 
i remember the only reason why i visited this site was i saw one of dieselmacks videos on youtube.. and when i got here.. i knew that was it.. its a wrap for me.. i knew i was gonna get hooked and stuck in the game.

I found this sight when finding info on what fish live with Florida softshells (I was pretty big into reptiles- still am). Now my fish collection overshadows the reptile collection, although the turtles are still top priority.
 
as far the mods on this site go, they are hell of alot more mellow and laid back than some of the other sites i've been on. i'm a member of a few sites that will ban you or delete all of your threads without anyone telling you what you did wrong or why you got busted.

at least with the run-ins i've had here the mods have been gracious enough to respond respectfully to my questions and weren't complete jerks...

but we all know what they say about those that complain the most.....
 
i remenber finding MFK and asking myself .. is this overwhelming or am i just use to the little forum i was part of.. then once i found my way around i knew i would never go back to that little forum again{:( i had grown:D} seriously if i ever leave this forum i would probably not join another and instead find something completely different.. because if your not amused, frustrated, aggrivated, happy, excited and educated from this forum..theres just no where left to go: The MONSTERS{good and bad}are all here:D

It's funny you should say so, I left a forum that was full of arrogant pricks, members and staff. I came here, and found that the staff were fair and the members were mostly good people, with the occasional d-bag tossed in, and then thrown out. I haven't even visited any other forums, and I don't intend to.
