I know it. We have found gators here too but a total ban is ridiculous. Its like banning pittbulls because of a few dumbchuck owners. Intelligent regulation would be far more effective

Yeah that's a problem is that nobody in here wants more regulations and restrictions about who gets to keeping these banned animals.

Just like everything else in this. Country a few bad apples ruins the lot for all of us. Whether it be animals, guns or whatever. Its easier to control the mass than to control the few......easier to pass a law than to actually get off your butt and go after the rotten apple!

The only snakehead in Alaska which I saw at my LFS was reported to be 10 years old if I remember correctly.

So you put no blame on the person with illegal fish whatsoever knowing the consequences? If you're all about the rays wouldn't it be better to try to finds home for your rays after the ban comes up? Instead you openly tell f&w and risk them coming and putting your fish on ice so you can make a stand? Why not rehome your fish and then protest once the fish is already out of harms way instead of making them martyrs?

Yeah right I can see that happening can't you a mad flow of adult rays being shipped out of the US rather than Brazil

The truth of the matter is rays have been band to import into Singapore for sometime now but they have found they have a large enough captive breeding pool now so they don't need to import

I keep coming back to Asian aros I think you would be shocked at how many are owned in the US people are not silly and they won't post a pic of them out side the Statue of Liberty
They keep it hush

People brake the law all the time only the foolish get caught

Honestly Jay if you do a historical search on each member I doubt you will find that most (not all) but most of the long term and hard core ray keepers dont call out these posters.

You are probably right, but i know what i have seen recently... and we already scare enough potential ray keepers off with the size of tanks we tell them they need that we should be more inviting to questions.
