I keep coming back to Asian aros I think you would be shocked at how many are owned in the US people are not silly and they won't post a pic of them out side the Statue of Liberty
They keep it hush

People brake the law all the time only the foolish get caught

You are right, wise people don't get caught, only fools get caught. I won't be surprised if someone there is keeping snakeheads or walking catfish right now in United States along with Asian aros. Kudos to them!

So nobodies giving there rays up... so why do we always rag on questions from states they are banned?

Guess it would be important to know if they were obtained before the ban or not no? Keeping pets you've owned and gained an attachment to is one thing, but if you're trying to obtain a ray even though it's illegal i think it's a bit different. Kinda like smoking pot, people do that full well knowing they could potentially have trouble, and then there's those that post Facebook pics of their growops. I don't have a problem with someone wanting to import a ray illegally, i have a problem with a moron trying to obtain a ray illegally. The average guy should still understand that if you play with fire you may get burned, just wish there was a more humane way the f&w would do, that would have to be on the person that got caughts conscience.

If it were rays I already owned I'd fight them till I get arrested and would support those that would do the same, I'd have a bit less sympathy for someone that got one after the ban (though would still have a bit for the ray).

I agree 100 percent but we can not assume someone knows they are in rayfree zone before destroying them about it...lol If someone breaks the law it is there risk but dissuading people from asking questions is counter productive

Option 1

Apples to oranges, my little grasshopper.

Just making a point that this Poll can relate to any exotic and for that matter domestic (pitbull anyone) pet, Just because i used the context of stingrays, because I keep them doesnt mean it can not happen to your pet. In addition there are probably more big cats and gators kept illegally then aquarium animals which can be a true threat to a human, but resources are wasted on getting people with asian arrows and rays in states they shouldnt have them.

Let me ask, as an outlander from the opposite side of the big dipper: is it really like you guys say? I mean if one does not flaunt the aro, or the sh or the whetever openly, keeps it in the confines of its tank, is there still a risk of discovery?

I mean, does the US really have the resources to go after rays? Does it soend tax payers money looking for Piranha in Armpit, Montana?

Seriously?
