So I have enough room for an aro? Also I live in Canada, not a lot is banned here, just northern snakeheads (channa argus)

I would love some cats, just not ones that get 4 feet long
As for the native tank (totally alien to me), I just moved from Europe about 8 months ago and have no idea how to fish...

also, besides this the largest tank I've ever had was 60 gallons, so I'm new to monster fish and need to know what would be cool

get a channel catfish. they dont get enormus and can be found in many petshops. plus they are easy to feed.

I konw it would be huge, but these are the the guidelines for the best possible environment for the fish in captivity to get them to bread and live a long happy life

nice dimensions too bad its only 5 feet long in length... the width is awesome though.
why not go with a single asian aro and a few different type of smaller schooling fishes
and keep the shoals to compliment the aro? like a rtg with shoals of sd's & cl's & etc.
just throwin in some ideas.
