Man, that pisses me off when they wedge themself in like that.

Don't they know they're still going to get caught? Just jump in the net for crying out loud!
ive started catching them by hand like you do with ALL Plecos. every time i have to take one out i rip out all the decor and lift them out by the tail. theyre fast too! its taken me up to 5 minutes to get one out of a BARE 5.5G... they go behind the heater...nudhe them out BOOM behind the filter :wall:

Danios. They are fast as hell and all look EXACTY THE SAME. And they jump onto the floor and sit perfecty still...

thats cuz Cyprinids are sensitive and get stunned if they fall on the floor. they arent playing, Danio

also why is your answe to every quetsion "Danio?"

for me its my zebra tilapia bonita she is a torpedo

Sometimes Plecos are hard to catch. Oh, and a Ruby Scat. That thing was fast, tricky and jsut a big pain in the butt. I almost thought I woulndt be able to catch it.

Out of all the fish I've netted over the years, Mbuna cichlids are the toughest to catch. Especially in a larger aquarium.

I've done clown loaches, they are rough to net. The trick is to wait for the tank light to go off and put some food down for them, then hit them with a flashlight and scoop them up.

I once spent almost a month trying to catch one, single, male wild X helleri (swordtail) in a 75 gallon planted. The trouble with him was he seemed to realize that I was after him, and even though all of the other swords would be busy eating and doing other stuff, he would never stray far enough from cover for me to nab him, even though I was spending hours waiting patiently by the glass. I even had him in the net a couple of times and he managed to swim upward faster than I could pull the net out of the water and got out. I finally did get him with the aforementioned flashlight trick.

This sounds similar to me. I had a yellow acara I had to keep removing cause he was bullying. After about 2 moves, he didnt like me anymore. Once he noticed me he would hide and wouldnt move to allow me to get him. The fish hated me. I had to trick him too, I would sit byt he tank and act liek I was ignoring him and catch him off guard, but the minute I raised my hand he would go to the hiding spot.

loaches are hard to catch :P
try catching 5 4.5"ers with a 4" net in a 125 and no time to drain :( it sucks lol

Speedy Fish are not a problem for me, I just use two nets for clown loaches. The real hard ones are spiny eels, and anything that can hide in substrate. exp in a large aquarium. Saltwater fish are also hard to catch because of live rock.
