Blood Parrots! I see them and I say, "Why?" They are deformed little fish that I always feel sorry for when I see them with their round bodies and gaping mouths.
Eh, boston terriers have pretty bulgy eyes sometimes, and they have glowing cats and pigs now so dogs are probably not far behind, lol!thankfully we don't have glowing or dogs with bulging eyes
I guess I stand corrected but no dogs have it as bad as those God forsaken goldfish with what looks like boobs pushing in on their eyes and the Bostons I've seen don't have bulgy eyes as much as they have flat faces.Saterus;4702455; said:Eh, boston terriers have pretty bulgy eyes sometimes, and they have glowing cats and pigs now so dogs are probably not far behind, lol!
Thankyou!! All these people who hate on blood parrots while they feed Toy poodles or Bulldogs.....or any dog other than a Dingo or African wild......Or how about our beef cattle, or chickens...or turkeys.....what about domestic pigs? All these creatures are the result of the same process as Blood Parrots....or any Koi for that matter.....Do you really think a Bulldog or a domestic chicken could make it in the wild?? welcome to the real world!Laticauda;4702378;4702378 said:Unfortunately, lots of dog breeds are so terribly deformed, they do have bulging eyes, which causes eye trouble. The short-nosed breeds have difficulty breathing (i.e. pugs, boston terriers, "english" bulldogs.) I honestly can't think of any particular breed that doesn't have some sort of genetically predisposed problem. English bulldogs are prone to skin infections, bone problems, and countless other things from being so exaggerated.
A lot of dogs are prone to luxating patella, hip dysplasia, cataracts, the list goes on! Mind you, none of them are glowing, but that would be an interesting site to see!
I guess I am just proving your point here!
So sad but so true.I mean come on..short bodied peacock bass?eatingleg4peanut;4702575; said:Now you may or may not participate in the above practices, but my point is they are all common practice. The sad truth is that the human race is going to alter and experiment with our "pets", and its mostly for our entertainment, we just got a later start with tropical fish.
But your also refraining from mentioning most of the canine breeds that are now extinct that where replaced by these domestic breeds, due mainly to villinization and erradication of the very animals we used to create our "domestic dogs". Not to mention every other domestic type animal we've poorly "specially bred" .. personally thats why I support maintaining natural species. I don't have anything against people wanting to keep these man-made abominations. But personally I would like to preserve species.. not create new ones. Natures artwork is imo far better then ours. Thus answering the question....Now that's sig worthy.MonsterMinis;4702590; said:Natures artwork is imo far better then ours. .
