what's your worst purchase

had a breeding pair of convicts....Decided to name the male Chris Brown and the female Rihanna. Yup you guessed it Chris Brown beat the snoot out of Rihanna. moral of the story.........don't put Chris Brown and Rihanna in the same tank.....
worst purchase was a " good deal " from petco on 2
huge redbellied Pacu. They sold them to me for 9.00 for both and i though WOW what a deal for some huge fish!.....
I put them in my 75 gal aquarium and everytime i walked by the tank they flipped out, knocking over all of my carefully stacked slate caves, uprooting all of my plants and just plain making a mess of everything...they were gone with a quickness!

Some Fenestratus that I got that paired up then went on a rampage killing the third Fene, 3x Vieja Melanurus, and 2x Herichthys sp. Turquoise.
I bought a red belly pacu at about 2" to go with my 8" oscar in my 55 gallon, one moth later the pacu was about 10 inches and his fat a*s could barely turn around....had to give him up for adoption....
Mine is my tiger shovelnose he has eaten about 100 dollars worth of fish that I did'nt want him to eat. I still have and love him though.
ok worst fish buy... mine would have to be a damn COW FISH.. im not sure if that is the real name but that is what the LFS sold it as. the damn thing sits on the bottom and looks dead 24/7... that is not the worst of it.. not only does he look dead all the time, but some of my buddies seam to think he looks like a big terd in the tank.... so thanks alot cow fish it looks like some ome dropped a dump in my tank. LOL worst buy ever!! i dont think i could even give this guy away!! but it is awsome to see him feed super agressive with feeders.
Chinese Algae Eater. Aggressive fish with non-aggressive tankmates. The LFS had it (and all their plecos, cats, and general suckers) labeled as "algae eater" so I didn't know what I was getting into.
