I kept my old mangroves in an old cabinet that I converted and made "monitor proof". It worked very well. If I recall, the final product measured 8x4x4. As mentioned above, these guys are among the most difficult of all monitors to house due to the fact that they need land, large body of water, and trees to climb. Monitors are very intelligent reptiles and need plenty of mental stimulation to thrive. I remember changing up the enclosure every week or two so that they could "explore".
