Another update, has grown a lot in personality. Bolder and not afraid to chase the fingers outside the tank.

Size wise, maybe a little bit...besides trying to keep the water pristine (2-3 times weekly WC) and ample feeder food supply...are there any supplements out there that are recommended for piranha health and growth?

very nice manny red aimara. as mentioned by other members the vita chem is an excellent vitamin supplement for your piranhas or other fish you might have. just soak the food for 30min in the vita chem before giving it to them. I also use the vita chem every time I do a 50% water change or just add it weekly to the tank. 50 drops is for a 50 gallon so just adjust accordingly.

Hi!

I'm sorry I haven't written for so long but I lacked time. A lot has happened in the meantime.

My manual had a serious fungal and bacterial infection, luckily I was able to cure it with baths in potassium permanganate and an antibiotic.

From that moment my manueli gained a huge appetite and became a greedy eater!

My Vallineria plants killed all other plants in the aquarium so I'm now in the process of removing them from the tank and for some time I have not turned on the light.

When I manage to get rid of all Vallineria plants, I will plant other plants in the aquarium and start lighting the aquarium again.

Red Aimara, beautiful manny, congrats!

I add a picture in which you can see my manueli's bath in KMnO4 and one taken today, the colors are poor because the light in the aquarium is off, I will try to take better pictures later.

Yea, the color is very intense and has already entered the lower jaw of the fish :) My manny now eats small fish whole (not fillets as before), it has a big appetite and eats two smelts immediately after throwing them into the water.
