On dosing instructions for metro it says to dose every other day until symptoms dissapear, so how often do you think I should do water changes?I normally do 50% once a week

I believe my first impression was correct, treat with metronidazol or API general cure. It is Hex and as you can see it is contagious. Treat the whole tank, if you don't have any salt sensitive fish you can salt at 1 tablespoon per 5 gals of water along with the metro or GC. The second picture looked as though it could have been fungal but it isn't it is hexamita. Treat as I suggested and they should be fine, a little scared but they'll live. Keep the water clean with water changes between dosages as directed on the package.

Everyone seems to be looking better and I am wondering how long do I keep dosing the tank?

If you've been treating for a week you can stop after 7 days. Keep up with the water changes and salt for another week and go back to your normal routine. They should be fine.

Well the spots have came back should i continue treating with metro?

Do a big water change, 50% or thereabouts, and do exactly what Tom advised again. Reoccurrences happen with things like this. As an added precaution, I would soak their food in an Epsom salt solution as well. Its been proven effective at helping combat hex, that coupled with metro and I'm thinking you'll be clear this time around.

Do a thorough gravel vac as well

Instead of dosing every other day and doing a 25% water change every other day I would use twice what it recommends and do 50% water changes.
