i use a 19 ltr bucket from B&Q filled using the good old syphon on my 150. i dont have an easier solution set up because i move alot cos of my job so i am waiting till i settle then i will set up a permanent plumbing solution.
I still use kind of a bucket, it's a 5 gal zephyrhills jug. I do a 20 gal water change on 2 55s and a 10 on a 40 once a week. It's good excercise for me....lol
i use a bucket for the 10 gallon.. lol.. some tanks i fill using 5 gal water drums.. i used to use the buckets when i first started... and that was a PITA for only a 29 gallon..
pff y'all got it easy. i dont have neough space above my tank to do a siphon from a 5 gallon bucket or to pour it. so i use 5 one gallon milk jugs. every other day on my fifty five gallon afro cichlid tank. D:
I use a 3.XX gallon bucket and a siphon on my 55g haha
It is just a little bigger than 3 gallons, so I do three buckets every week. Works out to be a little over 10g I think.
Need to upgrade to the 5g bucket...never tried this python but it seems interesting...but the time it takes to change water allows my tube to warm up on my TV for the best picture possible
I'll change the water on my 90 with a bucket after I pop my A-track in...lol....I still use a bucket to siphon fry out and to hold my python of course!!!
I still use buckets for my tanks. IDK why, but I can't bring myself to pay that much money for a hose! Plus it gives my legs, back, and arms quite a workout!
