A 2.5G bucket for me with a syphon and a 3ft long hose. Although the sink is only a few feet away.

A pyhton system is not expensive to make either. Just buy the Python faucet pump ($8 at Petsmart), attach any garden hose and voila! instant python at fraction of the cost
i use the bucket my tanks are in my basement didn't know there was any other way to do it i just carry buckets back and forth up and down the stairs
and it works exactly like a python? so you can use it to siphon water into the sink as well as fill it up from said sink?jcardona1;1791061;1791061 said:

Yup! I actually bought a 25ft python and I then realized that I could have made the damn thing! I wanted to extend it, but I wasnt about to pay for the expensive pyhton extension kit so i bought a 50ft garden hose.
All the python parts are the same thread as a regular garden hose. Basically, what makes a python do its job is the faucet pump, the rest is just plain hose and a shut off valve!
