Oh yea, the upside is theres nothing like rolling over and looking at your tanks in the am from your bed.... I miss that.

Oh yea, the upside is theres nothing like rolling over and looking at your tanks in the am from your bed.... I miss that.
10 tanks total, both herps and fish as well as fruit fly cultures, springtail cultures and a Belgian trout worm culture. Aside from the earthen smell of the tanks and terrariums the only other smell is from the fruit fly cultures.
In my 10 years of keeping fish IV never had a problem of a tank smelling. What are you guys doing? I have my 180 in my room. It stays hot in my room
Haha! I have my endli's grow out tank in my bedroom. Its small tho but I really enjoy seeing him and he doesn't stink at all. I also have a leopard gecko in my room. Now he's the one who stinks up the place haha

Mine only smells after feeding. It doesn't smell normally. I assume that's what most people are referring to
I have close to 500 gal in my room. I don't think it smells bad at all. But she said it does. She also said I can have a Fish room 
but keep in mind guys your room are very lightly stock. Me Im heavily stock.

I have two redtails in my tank.... and a open sump. I still don't see how people have smelly tanks.
How big is your tank and how heavy is your stock.i have to do a water change every week. If I slack on water change I can smell a difference. But I'm pretty good about water change..

I do a 30-40% water change every two days, never had bad smelling water

Been keeping fish tanks in my room since I first started keeping fish never had that fishy smell in my room and a few of my tanks didn't have tops.
